Eva Spijkers, LMFT, is the founder and owner of Vesta Counseling Services, a premier private practice established in 2014. With a mission to help clients address and better understand sexual dysfunction and treating problematic sexual behavior, Eva has dedicated her career to promoting overall sexual health and personal growth in a safe, comfortable, and inclusive environment.

Eva specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for the treatment of problematic sexual behavior and sexual disorders. An active clinical member of the Connecticut Association for the Treatment of Sexual Offenders (CATSO, the Association for the Treatment and Prevention of Sexual Abuse (ATSA) and a member of the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT), Eva is deeply committed to supporting individuals struggling with sexual health and behavioral challenges.

Eva earned her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Fairfield University and she is currently a doctoral student in the Human Sexuality program at the California Institute of Integral Studies, further deepening her expertise in the field. She is a devoted advocate for diversity and inclusivity, serving the LGBTQ+ community and offering polyamory and kink-affirming care. Her approach combines professional expertise with empathy, creating a casual and welcoming atmosphere that fosters meaningful personal growth. With her extensive experience and passion for sexual health, Eva is dedicated to transforming lives and advancing the conversation around sexual health and wellness.
